The  2022 SouthArk Junior Golf  tournament  series
begins in March and will go through July. Players can sign up  for one or  all tournaments  at the same time.   The final event of the season series  will be at Mystic Creek Golf Club in July..

SAJG Tournament Divisions and Fees
Entry divisions ~ Boys 10 & under; 11-13; 14-18 
                         ~ Girls 10 and under; 11-13; 14-18.
(with parent permission, players can compete in a
           higher  division)
Boys 13 and under  &  Girls 13 and under will play 9 hole competition.  The two older divisions will play 18 hole competition.

Tournament Participation Rules

Players must be registered and paid in full two (2)
days prior to the event date.  In the case of tournament cancellation due to weather, registration and fees will apply to the next event.  Withdrawals with one day           notice will also transfer to the next tournament.

  • Players will walk or use pull carts.
  • Appropriate golf attire required.
  • USGA rules and applicable local guidelines will be followed.
  • No anchored long putters allowed.
  • Parents and/or spectators to remain in gallery area.
  • Youngest boys & girls divisions may have a caddy to carry clubs and provide guidance for strategy, rulings and pace of play. 
  • Double digit per hole scoring cap to be used for 9 hole divisions.

Points System

Picture
Tournament   players   will   receive   points   for   each tournament finish. Points will be posted on this website and  accumulated  through  the  series.  The winning of points  during  tournament  series  accumulate  toward award of season ending plaques.

          Win        100 points
          2nd         85 points
          3rd          70 points
          4th          55 points
          5th          40 points
          Top 10 Finish         25 points   (6th - 10th place finish)
          Completion            10 points    (if not in Top 10)
          Disqualified              0 points
          Withdrawal               0 points
          Players competing and finishing all 5 open events - add 50 points
